Born in Homs
studied painting in Alexandria- Egypt.
And then etching at the Higher Institute of Fine Arts in Paris, 1969-1970.
Was a professor of Art in the faculty of Fine Arts in Damascus.
individual and group exhibitions in Syria and abroad.
Influenced in the beginning by metaphysical trends, his work alter developed into an expressionistic language with symbolic aspects. He also depicted socio- political topics in modern language.
His works are in the National Museum in Damascus, the Ministry of Culture, and in private collections
